Update

Sorry I didn’t get this up sooner, but things have been busy with me, I got to hang out with my family and see my sister graduate from Whitworth!

The meeting went well, we talked about different things that we have been doing in the community, including a kids program on Saturday mornings at apartments, various community projects, etc. Actually as I write this, I am sitting in Coffee Lovers, the coffee shop that I have kind of taken on as a good place for me to do my paperwork type duties. We also reflected on Philippians 2:5-11

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

After this, Greg led us in some worship and we finished by praying for each other.

I’m really excited to see what this summer brings for us as a church and particularly this fall as we officially launch. Continue to pray that God would be working to bring us into the situation that He has planned for us to be a part of.

Also, if you are interested, we are encouraging everyone to be a part of Compassion SE (you can fill out a volunteer form and email it online)
